telecommunications

The diversity in telecommunication technologies and the variety of operations within the oil and gas sector has resulted in an equally diverse communications supply chain, involving many different suppliers and organizations. Although new operating models have emerged, there is currently significant activity in the telecommunications sector and we expect to see continued change in this evolving market.Oil and Gas companies also face the challenge of deciding which capabilities they need to build in house, and which they should outsource. They also need to select the most appropriate suppliers to support their business activities. Those service providers who can most effectively work in partnership with Oil and Gas companies, to develop the optimum solutions and capabilities, or are able to offer a niche solution most suited to a specific domain or geography, are likely to be the most successful in the longer term. Raya with its expert engineering team is always up to date with the latest technologies and telecommunication solutions. We will advise your company in what solutions would better suit you and select the best equipment, buy it at a fair price and integrate it for you.

AISS

AISS is an important asset for industrial, public and residential sites. The security market offers a complete and comprehensive range of reliable and intelligent perimeter protection systems, enhancing the best technologies in microwave, infrared and doppler sensors. We at Raya are connected with the best vendors and can select a system which will suit you most.

ACS

Access Control protect both personal and physical assets. A range of Access Control systems are available, from audio/visual entry systems, to devices such as finger print readers. These systems are designed to protect your work place and control entering and exiting of employees and visitors.

PABX & HOTLINE

Voice communications are extremely important to support the operation of oil, gas and petrochemical plants, and other environments. The main telephony system is composed of a central telephone exchange (PABX), cabling infrastructure and telephone sets.

PA/GA

The PA/GA (Public Address/General Alarm) system is responsible for delivering messages and alarms of general interest by means of loud speakers and other sound devices which are spread throughout the plant and working environment.

PA/GA might be necessary in many industries but it is especially crucial in the oil and gas industries where safety is of utmost importance in the highly volatile working environment.

Offshore oil plants are also prone to different hazardous conditions, including leaks, fire, weather conditions, etc. A PA/GA system helps you control these events and give due attention if anything happens.

METEOROLOGICAL SYSTEM

The meteorological system measures significant parameters such as wind direction and velocity, air temperature, humidity and air pressure. It contains warnings of strong winds and hazardous weather, sea state and wave conditions. This system is especially needed for offshore plants where weather conditions can disrupt the regular activities of the plant.

WIRELESS SYSTEMS

Radio Beacon (NDB) for navigation aid, Microwave Digital Radios for communications between platforms and on-shore stations. INMARSAT terminals for voice and data services and for emergency communications VSAT terminals with stabilized satellite tracking antennas, for access to voice, data and internet services.

SATELLITE COMMUNICATION

Radio Beacon (NDB) for navigation aid, Microwave Digital Radios for communications between platforms and on-shore stations. INMARSAT terminals for voice and data services and for emergency communications VSAT terminals with stabilized satellite tracking antennas, for access to voice, data and internet services.

SHIP SHORE COMMUNICATION

The ship-shore communication system provides ESD, Hotline & Public Telephone Interface between LNG/LPG Cargo Vessels with the ship (jetty) side. These interfaces are based on optical, electrical & pneumatic media with SIGGTO recommended interfaces.

CCTV

The onshore sector encompasses a wide range of varied and different activity which requires definite and precise products to meet the needs of the client including safe area, hazardous, and thermal camera stations.

SDH/PDH

FOTI includes a range of transmission and receiving equipment (voice, video, data) for security/surveillance, broadcast networks, and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems). Passive equipment includes patch cables, optical couplers, WDM, fiber optic cabling with low insertion loss and high isolation.

TELECOM TOWER

The telecom tower is needed to mount radio system antennas. All type of towers such as self support and lattice, guided, monopole and mast are used in many projects based on a radio coverage study that will be conducted. Painting with ICAO recommendation will be considered for high height towers.

LAN

LAN has consolidated its position as the main information transport media in onshore/offshore plants. The convergence of IT and telecommunication services creates a new environment where voice, data, video, security and others travel along a shared common infrastructure.
